Zambia Revenue Authority -ZRA- Commissioner General DINGANI BANDA has warned officers against engaging themselves in malpractices that they will not be protected by the authority.

Mr. BANDA says he will not allow any form of malpractices to go unchecked during his tenure of office.

He says such practices are economic sabotage and must not be tolerated.

Mr. BANDA says officers must at all times exhibit integrity as they execute their duties.

Speaking during the launch of the 2023 ZRA Integrity month, Mr. BANDA urged the Authority to uphold integrity in order to deliver its one hundred and eight point 4 Billion Kwacha revenue target from its projected one hundred and three point one billion Kwac
a and ensure every amount collected is taken to the treasury.

And, ZRA Integrity Committee Chairperson EARNEST SIGANDE said tax administrators should be champions of ethical conduct.

Meanwhile ZRA Workers Union General Secretary CHRISTOPHER MWILA encouraged staff to practice integrity in order to serve the country diligently and inspire stakeholder confidence.
