Luapula Permanent Secretary MIGHTY MUMBA says the installation of the FM transmitters in the province will give residents a reliable source of information.

Mr. MUMBA says with the ZNBC radio 1 and 2 signal, people of Samfya and Chiengi will now be able to have access to reliable information.

The Luapula Permanent Secretary said this when he accompanied information and Media PS KENNEDY KALUNGA during the inspection of the FM transmitter in Samfya district.

ZNBC Director General BERRY LWANDO explained that the FM transmitter in Samfya is affected by unstable supply of power and called on the Government to consider alternative power interventions.

Meanwhile, Mr. KALUNGA said he will engage relevant offices so that the challenge of power supply is addressed in the shortest time possible.
