Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management -ZIHRM- has threatened to charge Nkana Mining and Minerals Processing Company for engaging an illegal Human Resource Practitioner.
The charge carries a penalty of about 150 thousand kwacha.
Institute President KELVIN SHAMIZHINGA has noted with concern a growing number of non-compliant Human Resource officers practicing without licences.
And Institute Registrar OWEN CHILALA has called on Human Resource practitioners to put the interests of the workers first.
Meanwhile, Kalulushi District Commissioner KELLY JIBINGA is concerned with some practitioners not protecting the workers’ interests.
