ZESCO Limited and Power China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding worth 90-million dollars which seeks to construct a 100 Mega watt Solar PV power plant.
The agreement was signed by ZESCO Managing Director VICTOR MAPANI, with China Power in Beijing, China today.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA and several cabinet and Government officials.
The President also witnessed the signing of several other MOUs with various Chinese companies.
And ZESCO Managing Director VICTOR MAPANI said the project will supplement the generation mix of Power generation.
