President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says ZAMBIA’s future outlook is bright despite the challenges the country is facing.
The President says ZAMBIA has achieved macro-economic stability and foreign debt restructuring, thereby earning investor confidence.
And the President has called for concerted efforts among all ZAMBIANS as the country strives to reach the Middle Income Status by the year 2030.
President HICHILEMA also says government is committed to inclusively develop all parts of the country to ensure that citizens equitably partake of the country’s national resources.
He said this in his National Address on ZAMBIA’s 59th Independence Eve- this evening.
This year’s Independence Anniversary is being commemorated under the theme “Accelerating National Development through Equitable Distribution of Resources”.
Meanwhile President HICHILEMA has called for unity in diversity among ZAMBIA as the country commemorates its 59th Independence Anniversary.
He emphasised that ZAMBIA is founded on the Motto of “One Zambia One Nation”.
President HICHILEMA has extolled freedom fighters who contributed to the liberation of Zambia from BRITISH Colonial Rule on October 24, 1964.
