A Zambian teenage Uchinzyo Kaziya has been invited by Spanish giants Real Madrid for further assessment.
The 13 year old impressed during a Real Madrid Soccer Schools training camp in Canada recently.
Kaziya was voted as the Most Valuable Player, MVP at the tournament in Ottawa, Canada after he impressed the Spanish coaches with his skills.
“The kid is amazing. He has a powerful shot and can dribble,” said one of the coaches who has watched him.
The Lusaka born kid’s talents have not just been showcased in North America.
A few years ago before his Father, Chanda Kaziya relocated, Uchinvyo featured for under-age teams in the Zambian capital.
Recently Uchinvyo Kaziya [ New Brunswick Province] and another Zambian kid Wanji Muwowo [New Foundland ] impressed at at Atlantic Tournament for New Brunswick Province in Canada and won a silver and Bronze respectively.
Former Bayern Munich and Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves was snapped by the Germany Club in similar circumstances.
Zambian born Charles Renken Bimbe was once dubbed the next Freddy Adu after he impressed in US across a number of training camps for U10s and U12s groups.
Renken actually signed for Germany side TS 1899 Hoffenheim when he turned 18.
He stayed at the Germany Club for a session but only made appearances in the youth leagues.
Renken was adopted by an American family from Lusaka’s Kalingalinga township.
He now runs a lower tier side in Kalingalinga.
He has now retired from active football and settled in the US.
