Government has encouraged youths to continue taking advantage of opportunities being provided to them through skills training.
Director Vocational and Technical Education ALEX SIMUMBA said it is up to young people to change the economic status of the country by giving quality work.
Speaking during the Lusaka Vocational and Technical College -LVTC-Fashion Show, Mr. SIMUMBA urged members of the public to support local fashion and designs.
Meanwhile, the Japan International Cooperation Agency -JICA- Chief representative NORIHITO YONEBAYASHI said the agency will continue promoting sustainable development and capacity building among the young people.
And Lusaka Vocational and Technical College Principal Officer GEORGINA CHAMA said the show is clear indication of the utilization of skills being offered to the youths.
Ms. CHAMA further appealed to government for more fashion exhibitions which will open doors for designers in the international market and commercial engagements.
