(ZANIS) A woman has stabbed her husband with a spear in Mushindamo district, North-Western province, after a marital dispute.
RICHARD KAFUTA, aged 47, was stabbed in the abdomen by MAUREEN MWANZA, aged 42, and he is admitted to Solwezi General Hospital, for treatment
North-Western Province Police Commanding Officer, DENNIS MOOLA has confirmed the incident, which happened at the couple’s home at Mupitashi village.
Mr. MOOLA says the couple had an argument as Mr. KAFUTA suspected his wife was having an affair with another man.
He explained that Mr. KAFUTA sustained a deep cut on the abdomen, leaving the intestines protruding.
The suspect has been arrested for unlawful wounding.
