Chipolopolo Boys head coach Avram Grant will be expected to make at least one change this afternoon as the team takes on Uganda.

Kelvin Kapumbu will miss the Chipolopolo Boys International friendly match against Uganda this evening in the United Arab Emirates.

Kapumbu suffered a strain of the hamstring muscle in Zambias 1-0 loss to Egypt on Thursday.

With Kapumbu out of contention, Grant will have to make changes to his starting line up.

Emmanuel Banda could be moved to the anchoring position replacing Kapumbu as the man to do the dirty work.

Grant could also decide to hand Czech Republic based youngster Golden Mafwenta a starting berth as the defensive midfielder.

Klings Kangwa is expected to continue as the creative spark for the team.

Grant could also introduce Simba SC midfielder Clatous Chota Chama for his creativity in the middle of the park.

Former Power Dynamos captain Rally Bwalya and ZESCO United main man Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba are also available for selection.

Zambia is also preparing for the World Cup qualifiers against Congo and Niger. The Chipolopolo Boys are in Pool E with the  two nations, Morocco, Tanzania, Niger and Eritrea.

Besides, they will use the match to fine-tune for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Group F fixtures against DR Congo, Morocco and Tanzania.

Kick off is set at 19h00 local time and  17h00 CAT at the Hamriya Stadium in Sharjah, Dubai
