The weekend is a thing of the past and we are deep into the new week but let’s look back at some highlights from the weekend. 

Being an international break, The Chipolopolo Boys were back in action with a difficult away game in Moroni.

The Chipolopolo Boys finished their 2023 AFCON qualifiers with a draw away in Comoros to end as Group H leaders thanks to a Patson Daka goal. 

Copper Queens winger Prisca Chilufya scored a goal on Monday as Juarez beat Necaxa 6-0 in the Mexican Liga  MX  Women. She has two goals in her six appearances. 

Striker Francisco Mwepu scored a beautiful stylish backheel goal for Atletico Sanluqueno in their 3-2 away win at Murcia. The goal was the match and Mwepu’s 3rd of the season, he is tied as top goalscorer. 

The goal was also picked as the best goal of the day by the #GolAGol team. 

The female Computer, Ireen Lungu scored a goal as BIIK Kazygurt Shymkent beat Cliftonville 4-2 in a 2023/2024 UEFA Women’s Champions League placement match after being eliminated from the competition in the first round by SFK Rga .

Rickson Ng’ambi scored a beautiful free kick at Nkoloma Stadium to rescue a point for FC MUZA in a rescheduled week 2 encounter. 

Peter Chikola scored (opening his goal account) and assisted for Cadiz B in their 3-1 win over Yeclano.
