Zambians from all walks of life are observing the National Day of Prayer, Fasting, Repentance, and Reconciliation.
The day is used to reflect on the love of God and how he has blessed the nation with peace and unity.
Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO, Senior Government officials and the Church are leading Zambians in prayer at the Showgrounds in Lusaka.
Songs and Prayers have characterised the commemorations.
Zambia is commemorating the National Day of Prayer, Fasting, Repentance, and Reconciliation under the theme: “Building Zambia for Greater Development through Prayer, Unity and Hard Work.
Earlier, Independent Churches of Zambia President, DAVID MASUPA called on all Zambians to work hard.
Bishop MASUPA also called for unity and love among all Zambians for the country to prosper.
