Vice President, MUTALE NALUMANGO has called for strict enforcement of road safety rules in order to curb accidents.

Ms NALUMANGO says President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is concerned with the death of 33 people, following the road accident in Luano district, Central province.

Speaking today during the burial of 22 of the 33 victims at the Chikwasha cemetery in Mkushi, Ms NALUMANGO noted that the untimely death of such a huge number of people, is a reminder of how fragile life can be.

The deceased were victims of the accident, which happened on September 3, 2023, when a Scania truck overturned on the Masansa-Mboroma road.
