Vedanta Resources says it will engage the community in all KCM operational areas to suggest projects to be undertaken with the 20-million dollars planned investment in Corporate Social Responsibility Programs.
Vedanta Resources Director Corporate Communications MASUZYO NDHLOVU says the move is part of uphold the company’s committed investments.
Mr. NDHLOVU says the CSR projects will be done through a Trust Fund.
And Mr. NDHLOVU has reiterated Vedanta Resources’ commitment in investing one billion dollars in capital mining in KCM and 20 percent salary increment for all employees across KCM.
He says Vedanta resources wants to see all KCM plants working and producing exports effectively.
