The University Teaching Hospital under the adult Medical emergency unit is in the process of installing seven full functional dental chairs.
UTH will also install a full dental laboratory and dental X-ray unity making it the largest dental unit in Zambia to cater for oral health needs.
Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary-Administration, Professor CHRISTOPHER SIMOONGA says the government has prioritised health in its agenda.
In a speech read on his behalf by Livingstone University Teaching Hospital -LUTH, Senior Medical Superintendent KASEYA CHIYENU, Professor SIMOONGA adds that the ministry has this year procured various dental materials.
And, Zambia Dental Association President NALUMINO SAYELA has praised the government for employing health workers.
