Munali Member of Parliament MIKE MPOSHA says there is need to upgrade Mtendere Clinic into a First Level Hospital.
Mr MPOSHA who is also Water Development Minister says upgrading the facility will match up with the growing population of Mtendere and the surrounding areas.
He says his office will engage the Ministry of Health to consider upgrading the Health facility for the good of the community.
The Munali Law maker said this when the Muslim Social and Welfare Trust donated 150 blankets to Four Health facilities in Munali Constituency.
Mr MPOSHA has commended the Trust for reaching out to the health facilities in his area.
And Muslim Social Welfare Trust Coordinator MEHTA MUBASSHIR said the gesture is to supplement the government’s efforts in the health sector.
Meanwhile, Chelstone Clinic Medical Superintendent FATMA YIKONA said the donated blankets will go a long way in helping the patients at the four facilities.
