Following numerous concerns from grassroot on the methodical approach of President Hakainde Hichilema to fully settle as Head of State and make changes in government institutions, UPND National Youth Chairman has reflected on transition of power as a process.
Addressing party structures in Sesheke District of Western Province, Mr Liswaniso said President Hakainde Hichilema is aware about concerns of his people but is equal to the task.
He said there is need for Zambians to remain intact and continue trusting the UPND manifesto and the leadership.
“I know that citizens especially the young people and women who turned up in large numbers want to see immediate solutions and fulfilment of UPND’s campaign promises.
” l want to tell you that President Hakainde Hichilema, your bally has not forgotten you, he is putting things in order and you should also put your house in order so that together we create a better Zambia.
Jobs are still coming and empowerment but are you ready?”questioned Mr Liswaniso.
He said what is important now is to work together and never fall into the temptation of harassing civil servants.
“Work with all your leaders in Sesheke and be helped to form diversed cooperatives.
President Hakainde Hichilema has brought resources here and is coming back to check on your developments” he said.
And Mr Liswaniso reminded them on the famous watermelon and should be treated with reality saying that the brutal regime of PF became everyone’s thorn in the flesh.
Speaking earlier UPND NMC Member Florina Nyambe encouraged women and youths to take serious economic development of forming cooperatives.
“Cooperatives under President Hakainde Hichilema have come to stay and will improve your livelihoods don’t be cheated PF is gone shall never come back and to do? Mrs Nyambe encouraged.
