Zambian Association of Indigenous Tour Operators ZATO Secretary General KELVIN MWELWA says he is expecting that President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA will address the issue of fuel prices in parliament on Friday.

Mr. MWELWA told ZNBC News the changing prices of fuel on a monthly basis have had a negative toll on the tourism sector because it is difficult to plan ahead.

He said tour operators advertise prices for activities and accommodation on a yearly basis and cannot afford to change every month due to the fluctuating price.

And Zambia Congress of Trade Unions ZCTU in the Southern Province said it is looking forward to President HICHILEMA addressing issues surrounding agriculture on Friday.

ZCTU Regional Coordinator KABOMBO KASHUMBA said encouraging youths to venture into agriculture through the Constituency Development Fund CDF will help increase production of maize hence reducing the prices of mealie meal.

Meanwhile Zambia Union for All Persons Living with Disabilities President PASCAL MULENGA is expecting that President HICHILEMA will address the challenges persons living with disabilities are facing.
