Tanzania’s Taifa Group of companies Chairman ROSTAM AZIZI says President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA’s encouragement to Zambian firms to participate in joint venture investments is welcome.

Mr. AZIZI says President HICHILEMA’s invitation is a challenge to African investors to bring capital to Zambia.

He says he will extend his network to bring other businesses into Zambia to explore the many opportunities Zambia offers.

Mr. AZIZI said this when he met President HICHILEMA at State House.

Meanwhile Chairman of Delta Marimba PARMORE MULEYA said preliminary work on liquefied petroleum gas project is progressing well and the government is supporting the program which is scheduled to come online in 24 months.

Taifa Group is a subsidiary of Taifa Gas Limited that recently announced its first joint venture investment with Zambian entity Delta Marimba to develop a 100MW gas powered generation plant in Kasama.

This is contained in a statement issued to ZNBC News in Lusaka today by TAIFA MARIMBA.
