The Chipolopolo have been hard at work at National Heroes Stadium as they prepare for Saturday’s Group H Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Comoros in Moroni at 21:00 hours.
Coach Avram Grant has had the benefit of having most of the players summoned for duty showing up on time.
Only China based Stoppilla Sunzu is being awaited today and will be part of the evening training session at National Heroes Stadium .
Zambia tops Group H on 12 points, one better than Ivory Coast who are already qualified as hosts. Comoros is in third place with six points while Lesotho are tail-enders on one point.
Grant’s lads already wrapped up qualification but will be gunning for maximum points to end the group as table toppers.
The Chipolopolo leave for Comoros on Friday morning aboard a chartered flight and will train in the evening.
Coach Avram Grant reckons the facilities in Lusaka are better than in Comoros and wants his team to do all the hard work before taking the two hours thirty minutes flight into Moroni.
