The Zambia Association of Colleges Student Union and National Council of Student Unions say they will petition the Constitutional Court to reopen the 2021 EDGAR LUNGU eligibility case.
The students say they want the concourt to re-pronounce itself clearly and categorically on the matter.
Speaking during a press briefing, National Council of Student Unions Secretary General BRIAN CHIINZA said the students are of the view that the previous judgements on the matter are inconsistent and ambiguous.
The students have appointed NACOSU President MICHELO CHIZOMBE to ensure the petition is filed.
Meanwhile, Zambia Association of Colleges Student Union President PETER BWALYA has urged youths to take advantage of the increased Constituency Development Fund in 2024 to better their lives through skills and other programmes.
