SOUTHERN Province has received the entire 27,506-metric tonnes allocation of D compound Fertilizer for the 2023 – 2024 farming season.
And Southern Province Minister CORNELIUS MWEETWA has warned against any delay in distribution of fertilizer to farmers this year.
Mr. MWEETWA, who inspected the storage facilities where Fertilizer is stored in Choma, also cautioned those involved in the distribution and supply chain of farming inputs against forming bogus cooperatives to deprive the rightful beneficiaries.
He says his office is aware of the gymnastics in the FISP matters that involve Camp Officers and in some cases civic leaders.
Meanwhile, United Capital Fertilizer Southern Region Coordinator DEXTER M’KANDAWIRE says all the 15 districts of Southern Province have received their allocation of D compound.
