Freedom Fighter SIMON MWANSA KAPWEPWE’s daughter, CHILUFYA, has called for patriotism and unity among Zambians.
Ms KAPWEPWE says there is a need for Zambians to emulate the love the freedom fighters had during the struggle for independence.
She says current politicians should emulate and champion the One Zambia One Nation motto.
Ms KAPWEPWE said this when Small and Medium Enterprise Development Minister ELIAS MUBANGA visited SIMON MWANSA KAPWEPWE’s house in Chinsali District, Muchinga Province.
She said Shiwangandu and Chinsali Districts hold fond memories of the struggle for independence.
And Mr. MUBANGA says the government will ensure the important sites related to the freedom struggle are kept alive.
