Secondary School Teacher’s Union of Zambia-SESTUZ has expressed satisfaction with what government is doing to prepare for the reopening of schools for examination classes next week.
Union Secretary General Sitibekiso Wamuyuwa has further assured the nation that teachers under his union are ready for work amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Mr. Wamuyuwa says the union has been working with government and it has also done its independent inspections of some schools and is happy with what is been done.
He has since assured Parents and Guardians to allow their Children to report for school because nothing will be left to chance in ensuring safety for the learners.
Speaking to ZNBC News in an interview in Lusaka, Mr. Wamuyuwa has further appealed to parents to pay school fees for the smooth running of schools.
