Residents of Senga Hill and Mporosoko districts have started receiving quality radio 1 and radio 2 signals.
MICHAEL MWANZA says this has made it easy for people living in remote areas to actively participate in national development.
Mr. MWANZA says in the past it was hard to have access to information as the only way was to rely on community radio stations whose coverage is limited.
And Information and Media Permanent Secretary KENNEDY KALUNGA says the government wants every citizen to have access to information.
Mr. KALUNGA says through the rural FM Project being implemented by ZNBC all citizens will not be left out from development.
He spoke during an inspection of transmitters in Northern Province.
And ZNBC Director General BERRY LWANDO said the project will broaden the broadcasterโs services in remote areas.
