Relatives of former President RUPIAH BANDA have appealed to government to consider helping them with transport so that they can attend the funeral in Lusaka.
TICHOKE BANDA, who is the sister of President BANDA’s mother, says she has NO means of travelling to Lusaka because of her old age.
Ms. BANDA says she will only be at peace if she could witness the burial process of President BANDA.
She was speaking at BISU Village where Former President RUPIAH BANDA hails from.
And JEKAPU BANDA, who is President BANDA’s cousin, said people and other relatives are mourning from President BANDA’s farm.
