Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions, Operations Manager CHRISTOPHER MALUNGA says all is set for Saturday’s Oriental Quarries Boxing promotions international Boxing tournament.
MALUNGA says the tournament is important as three of the bouts will be used as elimination for the African Boxing Union-ABU title fight.
He says the tournament which has attracted boxers from six countries will have seven bouts.
MALUNGA added that the over 300,000 Kwacha budget for the tournament has been met.
He was speaking during the weighing in of boxers ahead of the tournament Saturday.
Meanwhile, all the Boxers participating in the international tournament have successfully weighed in.
And platinum sponsors of the international boxing tournament, Trade Kings have pledged continued support to the sport of boxing.
Trade Corporate Affairs Manager, BRIDGET KAMBOBE said sport has the potential to create employment for young people.
