The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts has dismissed claims suggesting that only youths with grade 12 certificates are eligible to access youth empowerment funds.
Youth, Sport and Arts Minister ELVIS NKANDU has told parliament that the Youth Empowerment Program has been tailored to suite all youths.
Mr. NKANDU was responding to Lubansenshi Member of Parliament KABWE CHEWE during the questions for oral answer session in parliament.
Mr. CHEWE wanted to know whether a grade 12 certificate is a requirement for one to access youth empowerment funds.
And Mr. NKANDU urged lawmakers to consider encouraging youths in their constituencies to apply for the empowerment funds.
