Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU has urged the Copper Queens to build on the confidence they have already established and stun the big names at the women’s World Cup.

NKANDU says some teams have already seen what Zambia can do following the win over Germany in a friendly and now understand that the copper queens are not a pushover.

He says the girls need to fully concentrate on winning their matches because Government is addressing their concerns.

NKANDU was speaking when he met the team in Hamilton, New Zealand ahead of their opening encounter against Japan tomorrow.

And Football Association of Zambia FAZ President ANDREW KAMANGA said nothing will deter the association from ensuring that the needs of the girls are provided.
