Rescue teams have retrieve the body of the miner who died after a wall collapsed at NFCA underground Mine 15 in Chambishi on the Copperbelt.
Meanwhile, NFCA Rescue Team Captain DESMOND TUTUBANYA has appealed to management at the Mine to enhance safety to protect miners’ lives.
The miner was part of the five miners who got trapped at NFCA 788 meter level after a Mine wall collapsed on them on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, the National Union of Miners and Allied Workers National Secretary STEPHEN MWAANGA has urged management at NFCA to adhere to safety measures to protect miner’s lives.
And the family of the Deceased MATHEWS KABASO has appealed to management at NFCA to help in taking care of the educational needs of the five children.
