Namisale Primary School in Nangoma, which was once  a mud and pole community school, has recorded a 30 percent increase in enrolment after the introduction of the free education policy.

The school has also undergone a facelift following the construction of a new classroom block using Constituency Development Fund – CDF.

School Head teacher, JANE MWAPE has told NANGOMA MP COLLINS NZOVU who visited the area that the number of pupils is now at 450 up from 300.

And Nangoma Member of Parliament COLLINS NZOVU said he is happy that a new classroom block and teachers houses have been built at NAMISALE using the Constituency Development Fund.

Mr NZOVU also disclosed plans to expand the school by building more staff houses and classrooms.

And Nangoma resident FRANK MALUMBE said the community in the area has welcomed the completion of the classroom block.
