Nalolo Town Council has commissioned 20 complete community projects under the 2022 Constituency Development Fund -CDF.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Western Province Permanent Secretary SIMOMO AKAPELWA said the projects and empowerment funds will help communities attain socio-economic development that will in turn reduce poverty.
Mr. AKAPELWA said the government is committed to ensuring that peopleโs lives are transformed in a positive way through the constituency development fund, especially those in rural areas.
And Speaking at the same occasion, Nalolo Constituency Member of Parliament, IMANGA WAMUNYIMA said CDF should not be politicised but must be left to achieve the desired results.
Meanwhile, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, PRECIOUS SIKUKA thanked the government for actualizing the implementation of the CDF that has transformed many lives.
