The UPND in Lusaka Province has thanked President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for honouring the people’s calls for interactions with them.
Provincial Chairperson OBVIOUS MWALITETA says President HICHILEMA’s visit to both Mongu, Western Province and the visits to Munali, Mandevu, Evelyn Hone College, National Institute of Public Administration-NIPA-and KANYAMA as part of the 2 years in government is both commendable and encouraging.
Mr. MWALITETA says the sinking of boreholes through funding from the First Family in constituencies is a noble gesture.
He says the gesture will ensure that people have access to clean drinking water and sanitation services and also cut down on distances that people in peri-urban areas cover to get water.
Mr. MWALITETA says the 10 days of community service will continue to serve as a reminder of the care and love that the President has for the people.
He told ZNBC News that the UPND also want to put it on record and encourage Zambians that it is very clear that President HICHILEMA, who promised heightened interactions with the people of Zambia during his interaction at Chinika Secondary School grounds in
KANYAMA is a man of his word who means well.
