FC MUZA recorded a huge 4-0 win while ZESCO United came from two goals down to hold Power Dynamos to a 2-2 draw.
The elegant Dynamites returned to winning ways in style as they thumped ten man Green Eagles 4-0 away in Choma.
Rickson Ng’ambi scored a brace while Bob Agwenga and Andrew Phiri chipped in with a goal each.
Eagles played the majority of the match with ten men after Shapy Chikondi Njobvu was sent off for a second bookable offence in the opening 15 minutes.
In Kitwe, the Electric derby came alive as Power Dynamos welcomed ZESCO United at the Arthur Davies Stadium.
ZESCO United were reduced to ten men in the 35th minute after Ian Otieno was sent off following a foul on Andy Boyeli.
Abayellow immediately capitalised and took the lead in the 39th minute thanks to a beautiful strike from Austin Muwowo who scored in his second consecutive match.
Boyeli doubled the lead at the stroke of halftime as the defending Champions went to the break with a comfortable lead.
ZESCO United however came back in the second stanza with goals from league leading goalscorer Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba and Abraham Siankombo to level matters, 2-2 the match ended.
