Residents of Kamanga, Kasompa and Lwamuloba wards in Mulobezi district will no longer be cut off from Sichili ward during the rain season following the construction of a bridge in the area.
The Mulobezi Town Council has constructed a bridge to connect the three districts to the boma where they will easily access social amenities.
Mulobezi Member of Parliament RAPHAEL MABENGA told ZNBC news that every year residents in the three wards were cut off from accessing social amenities because of the damaged bridge.
Mr. MABENGA said the Constituency Development Fund CDF funded bridge will spur development in the district.
Mulobezi Town Council Chairperson, MIZHI KAMOCHA is thankful to government for increasing CDF as the fund has helped the council attend to development issues in the district.
