Lufwanyama Member of Parliament KENNY SIACHISUMO says the credit window for the public service which President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA announced in Parliament yesterday will benefit many farmers in rural areas.

Mr. SIACHISUMO says the funding will also help them graduate from subsistence farming to commercial in the long run.

Reacting to President HICHILEMA’s speech, Mr. SIACHISUMO said rural farmers need a lot of support for them to contribute to national food security.

Meanwhile, Mr. SIACHISUMO says President HICHILEMA’s assurance that FISP is going nowhere is encouraging.

The Lufwanyama lawmaker said FISP is very helpful to farmers and it only needs to be enhanced.
