Chipolopolo Boys forward Moses Phiri was on target on Saturday as Simba SC  continued their fine form in the Tanzania Liga Kuu Bara.

The former ZANACO striker netted the second goal  as Wekundu wa Msimbazi beat Ihefu 2-1. 

DR Congo forward Jean Baleke Othos in the 12th minute before Ismail Mgunda could level matters 14 minutes later. 

Phiri then came off the bench to net a beautiful goal lobbing the Ihefu goalkeeper after benefiting from a Jose Luis Miquissone. 

Phiri has now scored 3 goals in the league. 

Compatriot Clatous Chota Chama put in a good full shift controlling the midfield. 

The win sees Simba SC move to 18 points on the log tied with arch rivals Young Africans SC but they have played a game less.
