ZESCO United defensive midfielder Misheck Chaila has left the club to join 13-times Super League Champions, Nkana Football Club.

Chaila joined ZESCO United five years ago from Konkola Blades. The lanky defensive midfielder has played a significant role in the clubs success in recent years.

The 30-year-old midfielders name may not have been constantly echoed among the ZESCO United die-hard supporters. However, it is his level of discipline and fighting spirit that set him apart from other players whenever he was granted an opportunity to marshal the clubs midfield.

ZESCO United Chief Executive Officer, Richard Mulenga has thanked Chaila for his service at the club: I wish to thank Chaila for the wonderful years we spent with him at this club. He has been part of a great group of players who have contributed immensely to the growth of the club and most importantly to its success.

On behalf of the club executive, I wish him the very best as he opens a new chapter at Nkana Football Club.
