Golden Mashata and George Ngoma were on target again this afternoon as Green Buffaloes beat Green Eagles 2-0 in a week eight MTN Super League encounter at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
The duo scored last weekend as Buffaloes saw off Power Dynamos 3-1 and continued their fine form in front of goal.
Ngoma put Buffaloes in the lead in the 39th minute with a close range finish after some hard work to outpace the Eagles defence.
Mashata then sealed the winner eleven minutes to time, running almost half the pitch before slotting home with ease.
The win is the Zambia army sponsored outfit’s first in five meetings.
Masauso Tembo’s side have now moved to sixth place with 11 points from the eight games they have played so far.
