By Brian Mwale- President Edgar Lungu is tomorrow expected to travel to Botswana to witness the inauguration of Mokgweetsi Masisi after his re-election as that country’s President.
This follows Botswana’s national elections held on October 23rd, 2019 in which he emerged winner with a landslide victory.
President Lungu is expected to return as soon as the event concludes.
The President has since congratulated Dr. MASISI for his victory and congratulated the people of Botswana for holding peaceful elections in line with the revised SADC principles and guidelines governing democratic elections.
