By Katwishi Bwalya-President Edgar Lungu says there is need to address challenges being faced by Cheshire homes in Lusaka’s Kabulonga area.
And President Lungu says he will engage the Ministries of Community Development and health to see how best the challenges can be addressed.
The President was speaking when Sisters from Cheshire homes paid a courtesy call on him at state house this morning.
And Head of Home at Cheshire, sister Fatima Chisalukila says the home is faced with serious challenges of transport for the physically challenged children
Sister Chisalukila also said there is need to put workers on the government payroll.
And President Lungu assured the sisters the he will help with a bus for Cheshire homes before Christmas.
President Lungu also said he will engage partners to see how best their challenges can be addressed.
