A Seventeen year old girl of Zimba district in Southern Province has delivered conjoined twin boys sharing a body but has two heads.
The twins were delivered at the Livingstone teaching hospital this morning through a caesarean section.
Obstetrics and Gynecology Registrar, EMMANUEL MULUBE has confirmed to ZNBC News in an interview that the twins are alive and currently being monitored in the Intensive Care Unit
Dr. MULUBE says a detailed examination by the surgical team is yet to be done to determine which organs are being shared.
He however says there seems to be two heart beats.
Dr. MULUBE also says the mother is currently in a stable condition with no complications.
