Government has suspended the Road Service License for Likili Bus Service.
Minister of Transport and Logistics FRANK TAYALI says this follows the increased record of careless driving resulting in a number of deaths.
Speaking in an interview with ZNBC,Mr. TAYALI said a number of conditions are being put in place and a full comprehensive audit will be done once the suspension is lifted.
He said the ministry through the Road Transport and Safety Agency-RTSA will come up with a new license that compels all Public Service Vehicle drivers to undertake defensive driver training.
Mr. TAYALI said this will help avoid a number of accidents that are caused due to failure to adhere to road traffic rules.
Last week four people died on the spot and several other injured after a likili bus collided with a truck
