Transparency International Zambia (TI-Z) has appointed RUEBEN LIFUKA as the new Chairperson of the International Anti-Corruption Conference Council.

Mr. LIFUKA, who is currently also Vice Chairperson of the Transparency International Board of Directors, will serve as IACC Council Chair for the next 5 years.

TIZ Executive Director MAURICE NYAMBE says Mr LIFUKA, is a long-serving Member of TI-Z, and has distinguished himself over the years as a passionate anti-corruption and good governance activist.

Mr NYAMBE says TI-Z has no doubt that the IACC Council will benefit from his wealth of experience in the anti-corruption and good governance arena.

He says the IACC is the world’s leading anti-corruption platform and convenes every two years in different parts of the globe to advance the anti-corruption agenda by raising awareness and stimulating debate.
