Tourism Minister RODNEY SIKUMBA says there is need to create a balance between investment flowing in the tourism sector and environmental conservation.
Mr. SIKUMBA says doing so will enable the country’s biodiversity to remain intact and contribute to sustainable development of the country.
Speaking during the World Tourism Day commemorations at the tourism investment forum in Lusaka, Mr. SIKUMBA said the fusion of tourism and green investment is imperative to ensuring that Zambia remains an attractive destination for both tourists and investors.
And Zambia Development Agency -ZDA- Special Economic Zones Assistant Director JONES ZULU said the agency has continued to provide incentives to the tourism sector to enable it grow and contribute to the economy.
