US Lecce winger Lameck Banda is expected to join Fashion Sakala and Patson Daka upfront tomorrow as the Chipolopolo Boys take on Congo Brazzaville in their opening match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Banda returns to the setup after missing last month’s international friendly matches.
Banda will start in place of Lubambo Musonda who is out with an ankle injury.
He [Lubambo Musonda] sustained a spring injury to one of his ligaments after he was called to camp on Friday last week, said team doctor Wesley Ngongo.
Banda scored a brace for the Chipolopolo Boys back in March as they cruised to a 3-1 win over Lesotho in an AFCON qualifier.
Fashion Sakala will operate from the other wing looking to cause damage with his pace and trickery.
Sakala was on target last month as Chipolopolo eased past Uganda 3-0 in a friendly match.
Patson Daka will lead the attack as he looks to continue his fine form in front of goal.
The Leicester City forward has netted six goals in his last five appearances for the Avram Grant coached outfit.
He has 15 goals for Zambia in total and will be eager to add to that tally tomorrow at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Kick off at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium is set for 18h00. Tickets are currently on sale at ShopRite Stores Country wide via Computicketing from as low as K50.
