lack-of-proper-boarding-facilities-affect-kansengwa-pupils-~

Female pupils at Mboza day Secondary School in Kasenengwa of Eastern Province are learning under difficult conditions due to lack of adequate boarding facilities.

A check at the school revealed that some pupils are sleeping on the floor in an incomplete hostel, which has no running water, forcing the learners to use pit latrines.

School Acting Deputy Head teacher MOSES TEMBO has appealed to relevant authorities to intervene immediately.

Speaking when UPND Secretary General BATUKE IMENDA visited the school, Mr. TEMBO said it is hard for the learners to concentrate or compete with their colleagues that are in conducive environments.

Meanwhile, Mr. IMENDA has questioned why the Constituency Development Fund has not been used to address the challenge at the school.

He has since challenged the District administration and the CDF committee to immediately find a solution to the challenge.
