Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa opened his goal account for the 2023/2024 Serbian Mozzart Bet Superliga season.
Kangwa scored the third goal to help Red Star Belgrade to a 3-0 win over Sp. Subotica.
Osman Bukari put Belgrade in the lead in the 20th minute with a fabulous strike from a tight angle after a beautiful solo run on the right wing.
It was 2-0 four minutes later as Bogievi put the ball behind his own net when trying to stop a Lui pass from reaching Peter Olanjinka in the box.
Klings Kangwa who had a few minutes earlier come close to opening his account for the season finally did so in the 45th minute with a fine finish inside the box off a Stefan Mitrovi pass.
Kangwa was withdrawn for Geylor Kanga in the 58th minute.
Belgrade saw off the match to record their fourth straight win of the season.
Kangwa has so far been involved in three goals. He set up Peter Olanjinka for the second goal in the 4-1 win over Mladost and Jean-Philippe Krasso in the 5-0 win over Vojvodina.
Next up for the Happy Hearts product and his Belgrade teammates is an away fixture against FK Vozdovac.
