Green Eagles edged bottom-placed Kitwe United 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in Choma to maintain top spot while Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba scored a brace to give Numba Mumamba his first home win at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on ‘free-kick goals’ filled afternoon.

Aggrey Chiyangi and his Kawale Boys have maintained their place at the summit of the log table after they labored to a 1-0 win over bottom-placed Kitwe United in Choma. Striker Anos Tembo scored the only goal of the game, his third of the season.

In the early kick-off, Indeni were 1-0 winners over Prison Leopards thanks to a Graven Chitalu first-half strike.

At Nkoloma Stadium, Lameck Kafwaya scored a beautiful free-kick to guide Power Dynamos to a 1-0 win over ten-man Red Arrows. Paul Katema was given marching orders in the second half to reduce the Airmen to ten men.

At Sunset Stadium, Felix Nyaende scored a late goal to rescue a point for Lumwana Radiants who played to a 1-1 draw with Lusaka Dynamos. Ocean Mushure put Elite in the lead from a free-kick.

Nkwazi and Green Buffaloes played out to a goalless draw. This afternoon the action continues as it moves to Nkana Stadium where the defending Champions welcome Sensational Zanaco in the highlight match of the weekend.
