Presidential advisor on economic, investment and developmental affairs JITO KAYUMBA has called on large scale firms in Kasama to engage and work with local entrepreneurs.
Mr. KAYUMBA says empowering local entrepreneurs will enable them to thrive.
He has also thanked Kasama Sugar and National Coffee Corporation Limited for creating employment for over 12,000 locals in the district.
Speaking after touring the two firms, Mr. KAYUMBA said the government appreciates the private sector’s involvement in alleviating poverty through job creation.
