Kaoma District has started the construction of township roads at a cost of K4.2m sourced from the Ministry of Local Government.
The launch of the project was witnessed by Kaoma Central Member of Parliament MORGAN SITWALA.
General SITWALA urged the local community to support the ambitious road constructions initiative, highlighting its potential to facilitate effective transportation networks that will foster commerce and trade.
He underscored the significance of involving locals in the implementation of the project and that the Zambia National Services -ZNS- have been awarded the project.
And Kaoma District Commissioner KASHINA SHEBA said the project has not only brought about significant development but has also provided employment opportunities for the youth in the area.
